This was a concepted idea for a promotional poster, advertising and highlighting an aspect of Como Park in Minnesota. I chose to highlight the Charlotte partridge Ordway Japanese Garden; as someone who came here many times throughout my life, my favorite part had always been the Koi pond; so I decided to work with this concept. I used traditional mediums; Watercolor and oil pastel, then later editing digitally with text. I also concepted several different additional uses of the artwork, such as the featured art on a gift card to the Como Park gift shop, as well as a set of acrylic coasters.
