  • You can reach out to Danielle Fish Illustrations anytime via the contact page or email. We aim to respond within 24 hours. If for some reason you do not hear back within 4 business days, please send a follow up email.

  • Pricing is heavily dependent on multiple factors including the type of project and it’s details, such as timeframe, number of pieces, the finished illustrations purpose, etc. I offer standard pet portrait illustrations (bust-up, digital) for $80 per pet, and usually give a hefty discount to those who purchase 3 or more at a time.

I offer my freelance services at an hourly rate of $55 per hour or for a set project price (which is often determined by the current pricing guides available through GAG Pricing and Ethical Handbook). All projects will need to be paid a minimum of 1/3 up-front, a second 1/3 at the time of thumbnails delivered, and the final 1/3 after completion of project. There are other agreements and stipulations I often adhere to, such as the implementation of a ‘kill-fee’.

Once we have come to a thorough understanding of the project needs, a estimate (followed by an invoice upon approval) shall be sent, clearly outlining the costs.

  • It’s all about communication. With Danielle Fish Illustrations you can expect in-depth questions at the beginning, to get to the understanding of what your project is, and what you are looking for from the artist. Danielle uses this strong basis to make sure she knows what the client wants, which often cuts down on the amount of revisions needed, as well as strengthening the thumbnail choices.
